*Retroactively applied

From about 2003-2005 I was more interested in 1980s Thrash Metal than anything current and so there are a lot of retroactively applied entries. From about 2005-2008 I was more interested in 1970s Prog than anything current and so there are also a lot of retroactively applied entries. It wasn’t until about 2009/2010 when I finally got into the Metalcore/NWOAHM type music that
had made up such a large part of the decade’s output.
I think that 2010 & 2008 weren’t very strong years for music and don’t really like enough albums to make a good Top-20.
Of the years 2000, 2001 & 2002 I honestly don’t like enough albums to make a good Top-10.
